⚠️ Before following this guide, check with your institution's Administrator to confirm that the LMS integration has already been set up. This guide assumes the integration is ready to use.

What content can you import?

When importing from your LMS, you can choose between two resource types:

• Files — text-based documents uploaded to your course. Supported formats are: .docx, .pdf, .pptx, .html, .txt, .srt, and .vtt
• Pages — course articles published within your LMS course

Only courses where you are tagged as a professor will be available for import.

📌 Note: All documents uploaded through this process will be used as content knowledge. If you want to upload quizzes and exercises, these should be added through the Activities section instead.

How to Import Content from Your LMS

Follow these steps to import course materials into a Knowledge Group:

1. Go to the Knowledge section and click Set Up Contextualized Chat

2. Select the Knowledge Group you want to upload content into, then click Proceed to Upload Content

1. Click Import from Integration Source

❗ First time importing? You will be prompted to log in to your LMS account. This is a one-time step — you will not need to log in again for future imports.

1. Select the Course you want to import from
   • Only courses where you are tagged as a professor will appear in the list
2. Select a Resource Type
   • Choose Files to see a list of documents uploaded to the course (supported formats: .docx, .pdf, .pptx, .html, .txt, .srt, .vtt)
   • Choose Pages to see all course articles available for import
3. Tick the checkbox next to each document or page you want to import
