With Noodle Factory, you can:

• Build quizzes from scratch or generate questions automatically from your content
• Choose between different delivery styles (conversational, one-at-a-time, or all-at-once)
• Mix question formats such as multiple choice, checkbox, table, short answer, and essay
• Track learner performance and align quizzes with your learning outcomes

📝 Building a Quiz

Ready to build your first learning activity? Here’s how to get started with Activities in the Admin Portal.

1. Go to Activities Tab

   From the admin portal dashboard, navigate to the Exercises tab in the sidebar.

2. Click on [Create a Quiz]

   You can either click directly on Create a Quiz, or switch to the Quizzes tab and click [Add]. This will launch the quiz creation setup wizard, where you’ll be guided through key configuration steps — including selecting your quiz type (Conversational, one at a time or show all questions)

3. ****Choose How You Want to Add Questions

   Select your preferred method for building the quiz:

   • Generate from Document(s) – Let the AI create questions based on your Knowledge Base and learning outcomes.
   • Select from Question Bank – Choose from questions you’ve previously created and saved.
   • Import a Test – Upload an existing test to extract and convert its questions.
   • Import from Integrated Source – Pull in questions directly from a connected content platform.

🎨 Question Types

When creating a quiz in Noodle Factory, you can choose from a range of question formats to suit different learning needs:

• Multiple Choice (Single Answer)
  • Learners select one correct answer from a list of options. Ideal for quick knowledge checks.
• Checkbox (Multiple Answers)
  • Learners can select multiple correct answers. Great for questions that require more nuanced understanding.
• Bullet
  • Best used for categorisation or simple listing-based questions. Responses appear in bullet format.
• Table
  • Structure questions with rows and columns — useful for comparisons, matching, or tabular data assessments.
